Paul has been a celebrated radio personality for more than 20 years, most recently as the host of the Sunday Money Show on Newstalk 1010 radio. In 1993, he founded West End Wealth Planning and partnered with Investment Planning Counsel (IPC), a network of independent advisors serving 300,000 Canadians. West End Wealth Planning is one of IPC’s most successful and forward thinking financial planning practices.

 

Over the years, Paul and his team of industry professionals and strategic partners have come to realize who they are most suited to work with and the approach they take is one of a specific fit process. Working primarily with business owners, professionals and successful families, Paul and his Team help those clients achieve many things, a work optional lifestyle among them.

 

They do this through a propriety process, the Guidepost FORMula, taking all the pieces of a client’s individual financial puzzle and putting them in one place. There is no guessing or hoping. Paul’s clients understand that the process is like a recipe; Have all the ingredients needed, apply them at the time they become relevant, and the journey to financial independence becomes more predictable.

 

Paul has participated in many humanitarian endeavors, such as climbing Mount Kilimanjaro to help raise $175,000 for the Children’s Wish Foundation; helping to build schools in Haiti with the Pinball Clemons Foundation; travelling twice to Honduras with the Save the Children organization to build more sanitary homes for poor families; and raising funds for Holland Bloorview Children’s Rehabilitation Hospital to support disabled children. Paul is also a 20 year sponsor for four children with Plan Canada.

 

He enjoys practicing his culinary talents, cycling, live music, travel, time at the gym, and reading.

After graduating from Queen’s University in 2015, William worked to attain his industry credentials and joined West End Wealth Planning in 2017. William is passionate about researching the psychology of human misjudgments in investing and using this knowledge to help guide clients to make more evidence-based, rational financial decisions. In his spare time, William enjoys golfing, hockey, and travelling.
